Tips 1 : Install the HGD11 device appropriately closer to the Gas Stove. Ensure availability of 3Pin socket at a distance less than 1.5m from the device. Also check the feasibility of the cable route.
Tips 2 : Install the devices such that it captures maximum Gas when left open.
Tips 3 : Do not install so closer to the stove such that the devices gets direct heat of the stove/burner or direct vapour/steam of the cooking food. Preferably, Slightly diagonally aside rather than straight above the stove.)
Tip 4 : For LPG cylinder, install lower near the stove platform &
for CNG/PNG, install higher up from the Stove Platform.

Installation Process : 

1. Find an appropriate location to wall mount the detector.
2. Drill a hole around 4.5mm and use the wall plug and screw provided in the box.
3. Firmly mount the detector unit on this screw.
4. Plug the adapter into a 3 pin socket after installing / mounting the gas detector.
5. Tuck the cable neatly along the wall or kitchen cabinets such that n0 cable is hanging around or loose.
6. Switch On the device.

The gas leak detector will beep twice initially with both red and green LEDs blinking.

It will then initialize for around 120 seconds or less.
This is indicated by flashing of both red and green LEDs simultaneously.

Once the device is ready to detect, it will alternatively link the red and green LEDs.

That’s all.

• Whenever gas leaks above the threshold alarm level, this device will flash red LED and sound the alarm. This will help you to take necessary action by turning off the gas stove, knob and regulator.
• Whenever the temperature rises above the threshold level in the kitchen, the device will also detect this high temperature and sound short beep alarm and lit the green LED.

• Red light is for gas with Long sound alarm and green light is for access heat along with short beeps.
• For additional safety, you can also place another detector near your LPG cylinder, so that you can detect gas leakage from the cylinder and regulator which will give you additional safety.
• P&G connection users can install additional detector near gas meter. Gas regulator or the main gas valve to detect even minor leakage is near these joints.
